FINDING A CHURCH ISN'T EASY...

At Gibson Memorial United Methodist Church we recognize that finding a church home can be both intimidating and difficult. We know this because some of us have also searched for that special place to belong. We all have people in our lives who haven't been to church in years. We are aware that some aren't familiar with The United Methodist Church's historic past, and others that aren't sure about what the future holds for our denomination. In a world filled with judgement and anxiety, let us just assure you that at Gibson Memorial United Methodist Church, we are not here to judge you. It is our desire to become like family to you. Gibson Memorial UMC is a place for you to feel comfortable in your own skin, develop friendships, and encounter the life-changing grace of a God who already loves and cares for you.

We believe the first step is often the most difficult one to make. So let us make this first step a bit less intimidating for you. We want you here. Consider this a personal invitation to gather with us for worship this Sunday at 10 a.m. Bring along a friend or two. Our church is located at 202 East Branch Street in Spring Hope, NC. We're just a short drive from Raleigh, Knightdale, Zebulon, Nashville, and Rocky Mount. Our church is small, so you will not feel overwhelmed. But, you will feel welcomed. And, at Gibson Memorial United Methodist Church you can expect to grow in your relationship with God and with others. The same is true for us.
